Melissa is based in Long Beach, Washington where she currently offers green cremations for pets among other services. Melissa been an eco death educator for 6 years online as The Modern Mortician, and chose the PNW for this endeavor because of the connection to nature, the community, and the opportunity to provide something amazing in an geographical area which needs options … and that can inspire others across the world as it grows.
