She worked at Nelson cannery in Tokeland while her husband Jack ran F/V Shirley Lee out of Willapa Bay;   Ken Kachia Smith, at 86 the oldest male speaker of the Wasco language, shares history and indigenous stories of our area;  Ryan & Kyle Lutz fish in Bristol Bay and play music as The Lutz Brothers;  Memoir writer & essayist Tele Aadsen and poet Joel Brady-Power troll SE AK on F/V Nerka, process their catch at sea and market it themselves.
